Catchment Areas - Aggasiz, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley, Surrey, White Rock, Coquitlam, Delta Birth Years - 92, 93 Coaches - Ryan McWhinney, Doug Primrose Trial Schedule (Tentative) Camp 1 - Monday, June 7 - 6-8pm at Sullivan Heights (Surrey) - top field Camp 2 - Thursday, June 10 - 6-8pm at Exhibition Park (Abbotsford) *please note that these camps are not mandatory for players who participated in the BC Championships in Abbotsford; however, we still encourage all players to attend. Here is the message I received today:
Valley East trials will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00.
This Tuesday we will be at Abby Collegiate, and players will need to bring running shoes as well as their boots.
The trials are open to players born in 94 and 95.

Seniors are done

The Seniors has a disappointing loss on Friday to Rick Hansen. It was a hard fought game, and Sardis was up at half but just couldn't hang on for the win. However, we finished much better than last year with 8th overall in the Fraser Valley. Good season boys!
Juniors are out

The Juniors had a disappointing 1 point loss yesterday to end their playoff run. The final score was 22-21 in a close fought game. However, the juniors did well to make it this far, finishing 4th out of 18 teams in the Upper Fraser Valley. Time to set some goals for next year!

Seniors top 8

With the win against Fleetwood, the Seniors secure their spot in the top 8 in the Fraser Valley. However, there are only 5.5 spots into the BC Championships. The Seniors start by playing at Yale Secondary on Wednesday May 12th.
The Juniors are playing at home tomorrow (wednesday) against Lord Tweedsmuir. If they win, they will also be in the top 8 in the Fraser Valley and will get 3 more games in the next round.

I adjusted the last post to reflect the results of the first Junior playoff game. I had originally posted and told people that we might have two home games next week, but that has been corrected. We will play at home on Monday against Mouat but then AWAY on Wednesday at either Yale or Bateman.

Since we had a BYE in the schedule, we have scheduled an exhibition game for the Juniors on Wednesday at home versus Lord Tweedsmuir. Kick-off at 3:30.
