About Mr. Sutcliffe
I am currently teaching Math, Socials, and Leadership at Sardis Secondary School as well as coaching Rugby. I moved to Sardis in 2008 after teaching in Abbotsford for three years. My wife is a teacher as well, and so we enjoy lots of traveling together. However, our life is now changed significantly with a new addition to our family this summer when little Stephen Sutcliffe was born.
I graduated from Trinity Western University with a B.Sc. in Math and a B.A. in History. I have since completed my teaching degree at UBC and M.A. in Leadership. I have taught a variety of subject areas, but mainly Math and Social Studies. When I have time, I enjoy combining the two :)
My hobby and summer job is in lifeguarding, where I teach lifeguards and help organize competitions. In my spare time, I enjoy any water sports and other outdoor activities. Of course when I was younger I played rugby, and now enjoy coaching in the spring.
